Remind us real quick: Is this a car for the track, or for driving on the road?

Since you say you like blue tones, I would suggest Iris Blue, or Amazon Green (which is more blue than green). Both are amazing colors on the 928.

Closest to the Subaru blue is probably Cobalt Blue

Otherwise, take a look at MrMerlin's pearl ivory car, which is really a light yellow color.

But if it's for the track, maybe metallic isn't the best choice. There are other blue and yellow tones out there that would get you attention on the track, and might be a bit easier to maintain.

I don't care for amazon AT ALL! I do like Iris, but it is a bit dark in person. I lean more towards Cobalt.

I like Signal Green for track cars! If I had known I was going to own BLUE82, then my race car would be Signal Green instead of Arrow blue like BLUE82...

Photoshop, and it's just like I am a professional.

I like the way the tilt shift effect pops the car.

Tilt Shift AND HDR or High Dynamic Range
The HDR brings up the darker areas and reflections on the car making it shinier.

Know this: German is NOT building something for the purists.

He's building a stroker with CF intake runners, headers and now the complete paint job.

German, I admire your ambition on this one and can't WAIT to see how it comes out. I am by no means a purist and love to see new ideas well done on a 928 or any other car. Having said that, I'm not really a fan of the vette you posted. Since you said right above the pics that your 928 will be for track and street I assume the vette is supposed to be both as well. I'm sure it's cool on track, but not my cup of tea for street use. Just too 'rough' for me.

For your car: I used to have a yellow 280z that was perfect for me. I love yellow sports cars and I think if it were well done it would look incredible. I like yellow with black or back with yellow, but it would be tough to get this to look good on a 928 (or at least I can't imagine it).

Bottom line, it is your car and you're doing it 100% to your tastes already so have fun and keep us posted!

Thanks Myke,
really most of people of this forum help me,
i didnt know the stroker engines until i start in this forum, my first idea was reapair the car with headers and new suspensions but i decided if i began to repair.... make a "new" car because i dont have to enter the car in the garage in a few months.
here in spain the people dont known the stroker engines and nothing can help me, and there are a few 928 in the road.
Painting the car costs over..$1400 the same colour and bad painted, and $3600 if you painted with other color quit the carpets..engine etc.
i have lucky but my engine is out.. and i dont have carpets etc...so i have to take..
finally i decided put in my engine iron cast sleeves because make alusil or nikasil treatment is very expensive here.
i put photos of the progress..
