Default O2 Sensor on 78 K-Jet ????????????????

I have a single wire O2 sensor on my 78 928 w/ K-Jet. I haven't traced the wire yet to see where it goes. I've been under the dash and footwell CE panel and theres nothing out of the ordinary there. What could this be controling on a K-jet car? BTW, the car is a euro and was federalized.

Whether or not they could sneak the car thru the Federalization process?

May want to check to see if they added a Lambda system during federalization. That would include the O2 sensor, a controller (metal box under the dash) and a frequency valve that adjusts the control pressure between the WUR and fuel distributor. If you don't have the controller and frequency valve, hook up the O2 sensor to an A/F gauge and enjoy.
