Default Another shark reaches organ donor status

For anyone with an early model car, looks like some parts are available.

From the ad, it sounds like he knows his 928's.

BTW, dbrown928, is that a ghost checkerboard pattern on your hood or a reflection?

He does know the cars. After a brief moment of silence I plan to snag a few pieces for myself this weekend.

That is a ghosted checkerboard, it matches up with the pascha pattern on the seats.

Thanks. I'll pass the compliments on to the artist who did the paint.

You should see the slugs he did on the quarter panels.

When the car was removed from it's resting place of 13 years in someone's back yard it was covered in about 3 inches of what would be best called compost (pine needles, leaves, dirt). There were slugs living in there that left tracks in the original paint. That's how the car got it's nickname. The painter does a lot of custom bikes and the like and thought the story was humorous so he added slugs to the end of the pinstripe. They are tastefully small and make for great conversation points.

I would love to see more of Sluggo and more of the painter's work. I got a gasp out of my wife when I showed her the trompe l'oeil slug.
