Mike--
Your cherry was grabbed by a pro at elevating expectations. Getting a ride/drive with the well-cultured redhead will spoli you in a hurry. Now it will take a lot more to keep you happy when yours are all ready for the road. I had the opportunity to drive Stephen's car a couple weeks ago, and it's nice. Hope it provides the right inspiration for you.

Sexual Chocolate is the name Angela R. gave my '82 Rosewood Metallic (Brown) 928. Sean is working on it and has a thread started over on the RW forums. We just found out that it actually has a '79-'80 engine in it!
Yeah it was James that invited me to see his lair of 928's and then a week or so later asked me to drive one of them to OCIC! The rest is history...to be continued...

Is it an '82 chassis though? I wonder what happened to the original engine?! '78/'79 US engines and all first Gen Euro S engines were CIS, '80 and up US engines were not CIS as I recall, so it should be easy to determine if it is a '79 or '80 US engine...

"Sexual Chocolate" is the name given to an Irish Texan's German Rosewood Metallic car by a woman named Angela R.?
I LIKEY! Is she a Texan also?
Someday I would like Angela R. to meet my car (aka the "Green Machine," an Oakgreen Metallic German car from Canada) and me (a Scandanavian Californian in Texas) so she can come up with a better name for it also!

I think you are probably safe. The Best Names seem to go to Roger's cars for some reason. I could be wrong, it's just an impression I got from something I can't quite remember right now.

Hi y'all
Sean came in here and told me that my name was being brought up in a thread with 'cherry popping' in the title....I had to respond that they had the wrong Angela!
Yes, I name cars that stay here... I've named a couple that haven't stayed here too but I've at least seen them in person. Rogers cars are generally the exception because, well....he's my favorite Englishman Right now I've got his green '78 and I've named her "Sweet Pea" and it fits her perfectly.
A few of the names I've come up with so far: (some of the owners know them, some don't ) And yes, they are all girls because of the headlights!
Steffi: a burly German athlete - a little rough, bad carpet, but lots of muscles
Pink Taco: It's fast, pretty and you just wanna get in it and drive
Cinderella: Stored in a garage for a little too long - with a little work from the right hands - she's transformed
Trophy: She's seriously beautiful, perfection really, and you love to be seen with her.
Prudie: Another seriously beautiful car, but you can't get her wet
Black Widow: She really is trying to kill you (or your wallet)
The Copper Turd: She was named unfairly, I just hated her because she stayed a little too long I'm almost ready to rename her!
There are more, I just can't remember all of them at the moment!
You'll have to pardon my sick sense of humor, I can't help it
And what's wrong with feisty? There's just no other way to be
