If you actually like to read though the manuals to learn stuff the paper copies are much easier to handle for this kind of linear 'browsing'. Sometimes the scans are less than ideal so the paper copies can provide more quality - however the '89 wiring diagrams are crappy even in the paper copy.

The CD's are certainly more portable, easier to search through and useful to be able to print out just what you need, tand to create prints you can use in the garage with greasy/oily fingers or to mark up directly with notes - with no worries.

Ideally get both - if you can only get one get the CD's.

I have a copy of the wiring diagram CD and also a printout of all the wiring diagrams for my car in a pocket on the CE panel cover - always with me...

Parts Guide: http://www.porsche.com/usa/accessori...artscatalogue/ (you may need to enter 928 in the drop down menu)

You may also want to contact Roger for the CD set. I have not seen it yet (mine is on its way), but many on R/L seems feel its a must have resource.

The CAD sheets are a whole lot easier to read though, and they are layered by system on each sheet so the subject system stands out or can be printed separately from the page. Did I mention that it takes a day per sheet?
