I have had some stick here but I love this forum and the Moderation is excellent in my opinion if things get too rowdy....
You guys always help (unlike some of the Uk Forums) and I am hugely appreciative....
If you want to see some stick.....wait until I announce what I am having changed in my Nitrous system...to increase the power..... and to what figure ...lol
My humble advice - if you're about to get catty and post something in a thread that is not in the true spirit of this forum's purpose, go here: https://rennlist.com/forums/928-foru...delete-57.html
and drop in some inane thing, sit back, have a chuckle or two at what jleidel or one of the other guys (or gals) posted, and skip the nastiness or back biting stuff. It works every time, and it is what has helped to carry that delete thrwead to over two thousand posts. Let's not let that thread die!
"every one needs to put their hurty feelers back in their respective pockets........ irrespective of how they got hurt.
..... is right though.......... this forum has a rep of being clique-y and unfriendly to newbys..... while undoubtedly some of them MIGHT deserve it, there is no point in going out of our collective way to earn the DB title!
This thread makes the place sound like a cat house.............., so ease up ladies, eh?"
I am new here and have never felt anything but welcomed.
You are being too hard. This forum is most excellent. If you think this place is bad you have not been to some places that makes this look like a sweet tea party.
The only problems that I see in any forum is that it is written words that get taken wrong at times because of the lack of a face to face conversation.
Just my opinion ! Carry On
If Gretch posted that, he wouldn't waste his words if he didn't have a reason, and he has seen far more of it that you could guess. I am thinking he is looking to head off future histrionics.
You too Malcolm. Gotta get with the Olympic spirit. Pretty quiet on the 928 front this time of year, so just been hanging in OT, trying to do some Olympic trash talking, but not too much to be done considering the U.S. performance to date.

Ahh man, if ya gonna call me out, just do it (nike, woods reference)
This forum was so MEAN to me I had to buy (3) 928's to feel better!!!
Yes this place is just the pits, all you get is good information and help with a problem even if it is a STUPID question that has been answered a dozen times!!!

And believe me, I've gone over to the stupid side more than once, and, all being considered, the responses were kind.
Been a member of this forum since day one and must say it is one of the most civil forums I frequent. Sure, there are arguments (don't bring up torque vs HP ) and some flaming but they are few and far between. It doesn't take a newcomer long to realize there is a LOT of experts here that willingly share their knowledge and experience.
