Default Throttle Body Vacuum Test

Hi All.
Just got the throttle body back together with new bearings / seals.
Just for the sake of trying, I blocked off all the openings & ports and hooked up the Mity Vac. and....Nothing.

Question is, is this normal? I would have thought it should hold a little.

TIA!

It will take a lot of pumps to pull a vacuum on that volume...

Kinda figured it would take some doing. But...nada.

Maybe I'll just wait and pressure test with the compressor.

Today's a holiday up here,.......so it's flappy time!

Not being able to pull a vacuum on the Throttle Body has me worried though. I want to do minimal assembly until each part checks out.
