Default New Product: Supercharger

...not supercharger "kit".... just "supercharger"

I am proud to announce the first new supercharger built around our patented high-output supercharger impeller.

Raptor, whom I have been working with for about 4 years, has just brought out their Raptor RH model for bigger motors.

The current Raptor V is the blower we use for the 968, 32v 928, and Ferrari kits.
The first application for the new RH will be our 32v 928 Stage 3 kit.

I hope to have that kit available in the next month or so, but we are fairly swamped in the shop right now and I need to get caught up first.

Back to the new supercharger: we have had very good success with the Raptor and nice long service intervals for our customers. No oil lines to or from the units, cooler discharge temps, compact design.

This new supercharger will produce 1200 CFM at 16 psi.

Here are some photos, and more details are available here:

Looks nice Carl! How long do the internal belt drives last on these?

I have Raptor V's in the field that are on their 4th year and still no rebuild. Original belt.

The Raptor RH uses the same transmission, so I expect similar results (although the loads here are higher).

Default Pike's Peak

Not trying to hijack the thread, but are you planning on going to Pike's Peak this year, Carl? If you are, I may come up and watch you clean up.

32V ? I thought you were supplying Murph kits for the 32V cars? Has that changed?

Erick, not going to Pikes Peak this year. We have our eyes on the Land Speed Record for BGMS (Blown Gas Modified Sports Cars). I hope to get it ready in time for a shot at the record this September.
Here is our schedule: http://www.928motorsports.com/2010track.php

Fabio, yes that changed several years ago. For about 2 years, we offered our own 32v SC kits for the 928 and Murphs kits at the same time. Now Hacker-Pschorr has taken over Murphs' site, and he sells his own from there. All our kits on our site are of our own manufacture.
Here is the list of what is available: http://www.928superchargers.com/

I'm not sure what I have to do with this. The Murf site and my involvement pre-dates you ever selling a Murf928 kit.

Tim has sold kits directly off his site since day one.

The only difference is you decided to go your own way a few years ago.

Sorry, my post was a bit too short and sweet, didn't want to hijack just clearing up who does what.
Just pointing out Tim's kits are available directly from Tim, not me.

I'm just part of the "crew"

To give credit where it's due, Randy Page designed the front page.

Wow Carl, that impeller is gorgeous...reminds me of the internals of a nautilus shell. Makes me want to buy a kit for the car, and a spare impeller for the display case

Thanks, Mark.

I cant wait to get this installed on my 91 928 GT. Other work in the way... cant get to it and its driven me nuts! Soon I hope.

The GT already has my Stage 2 kit on it, Electromotive Tec GT system and big injectors, so it should be able to fuel it right away.

What performance are you expecting out of the kit? The impeller is georgous (I used to design and mfg the big ones for the petroleum industry). How much SCFM improvement are you expecting from the half blades?

It looked to us on the computer modeling like a 20% increase over the stock impeller. Those that have used it and posted their results before and after on youtube have born that out.
