MIKEY DONUTS..... IS there somewhere I can find out disconnecting and removing of everything I need to to paint hte intake and cam cover, I am a complete Newbie. Owned my 928 since June. Love it though, classic and a timeless design. BTW, your looks amazing! thanks

Search "Dwayne's Garage" or look for the links on the norcal928.org website. Dwayne does excellent picto-writeups. He did one for the intake on his S4, which is not exactly the same but close. The intake itself is different and the bolts for the cam covers are different, buit the writeup will give you a good idea of what's involved.

If you don't have the workshop manuals, get at least a CD set of the Jim Morehouse collection of docs for the car.

Consider starting your own thread as you document the project on your '85. It will make it a lot easier for others searching later for tips.
