"Snow around here is a joke!".

Which VA 928 owner dared to post this on RennList?
It's one thing to think, but entirely a different matter to put it in writing.
December snowfall 2'. January snowfall 6". February - today's forecast 2'.

Hahaha! I'm amazed at what we're getting this year. I hear we're ahead of Rochester NY!!

Hope you stocked up on everything a week ago, everyone is acting like it's the apocalypse and emptying stores left and right.

I should be good. The fridge and pantry are well stocked. The 928 is safe in the garage, the Honda CR-V (AWD) is in the driveway, and the Dodge Ram (4WD) is full of gas and ready to go. Not that I plan on going anywhere.

Wow that's unheard of for NoVa. You are getting more snow that we are....knock on wood.

Default V-Dub to the Rescue

My sharky des hunt in these frozen waters, but my V-Dub Touareg is chompin at the bit to go frolick! Of course I need to remove the 5ft high pile of snow that the city plows generously placed at the end of my driveway

<------ This is no joke, again. Plowed drive last night at 6, 12AM, 5AM this morning. Looks like a total of 18-20 by 10 tonight, and more, apparently, on the way. Arg. I have read every post in the SITM thread 10 times now - I know summer will come again....

Plows??? They must be working on the interstates, because they're not anywhere around here.

Blizzard warning for Anne Arundel County in effect till 10pm.

Nope, the would be me pulling an 8' blade behind my JD 5300 at 6, 12, and 5 for about an hour per session. And same as you, those other guys with the big plows haven't visited this neck of the woods yet.

I didn't realize the joke was going to be a cruel one! It's two dogs deep out there, my jack russel disappeared off the porch this morning. I had to clear a poop zone! Here are some shots

This is a 3 series BMW... even with AWD it's not going anywhere for awhile.

progress?

and for the rest of the day, I give up.

^ +1 A well-prepared soul indeed. Just hoping I don't run out of PBR before game time.
