Not free, $10. OK, close enough.
I couldn't find an old CL listing for it but CL only retains listings since the 19th.
I'm very tempted to go. I'd buy 10 tickets.

I have sent a message to Bill, to see, if he's up for it. Maybe we can make it a fun drive (yes, we'll find a seat for you, promised!).

Argh!!! So, lemons is on the 6th and 7th?
Will have to factor that into the plan for this weekend.
I sent an email asking, if the raffle could be done on a different weekend. We'll see...
PS: Would the "raffler" be allowed to post about this here, since it's technically not a "sale" and for charity?

Ugh! Too bad the winner of the raffle must be in attendance. Perhaps someone from this forum not interested in the Lemons race could go and represent the collective community and keep track of the winning number and owner of it.

Thats a great idea. How cool would it be if a caravan of 928's showed up to buy raffle tickets. I'd bet that would generate more enthusiasm from the other participants and ticket sales would increase. I wish I could go.

I don't see anything on the website or in the CList ad that tells me for sure how to buy a ticket and be included in the raffle.
Another thing confuses me too, this part: " I have no idea if this will be succesfull so the donation is that, a donation and tax deductible non refundable. "
Does that mean the raffle may not be successful as in no one gets the car and the donation is just a donation? If so what would be the reason it could be unsuccessful...is there a minimum ticket sales mark that needs to be reached?
If we can participate without being in attendance I'd buy a ticket but the ad isn't clear on how to do so....

Interesting I saw that car listed several times while looking for a replacement 928. The last add was going on and on about how it needed to be sold immediately because it was his son's car and blah blah blah....
I wonder when a new ad will go up? Of course maybe there is more than 1 brown 79 5-speed with cargo net for sale in the Santa Cruz area.
