I am talking to a guy about a car for sale, he says the door sticker says Petrol Blue Metallic.
I checked out the Australian site and they list a Petrol Blue, but not a Petrol Blue Metallic. Is there two different versions of this color, or are they the same?
It is on a 79 Euro.

I've never heard of a non-metallic Petrol Blue on the 928.

Sean, that car you have in the pic is either the early Iris blue or light blue metallic. I love the color either way!

I prefer OBs and S cars, so I can catch James without spending a fortune on GTS's
I still want an 84-86 Euro with a rare color. Guess it is time to sell the house and buy one with a BIGGER garage.

There is one for sale in my 'hood. Unfortunate circumstances as the owner has a brain tumor and is now in a nursing home and not expected to live much longer, but he does have a cool house that is for sale. It is on 1.5 acres is about 3000 sq. ft. plus the 3.75 attached garage and then behind that is a GORGEOUS shop with a lift and it is bigger (only slightly though) than my garage (I guess it is just over 2000 sq. ft.)... so, come on up Tim! LOVE to have another 928 or THREE in the 'hood!

looks like hellblau (light blue), either that or a REALLY perfectly faded petrol blue (but I doubt it)
