Default Rear Wiper Cap Cover Help

I had removed the rear wiper, but for some reason I wanted it back on.

The cap on one arm was gone. So I looked it up and found it to be part number 928 628 622 00 and ordered one from a vendor (the one with 928 in it's name ;^) ) This was the one for spoilerless early models.

It didn't fit!

So I took a punt and ordered the one for the spoilered rear end.

It didn't fit either.

Both are too narrow to fit onto the arm.

Anyone have any advice? Is this a case of 1978 with a change at '79 and not much documentation? Maybe I need to verify the number on the arm?

Shown is the arm, spoilered part and the non-soilered part.

That bolt looks really shiny and new. Did you replace it? If not, maybe the PO replaced the wiper and the bolt with somethign different?

I'll check the number on the arm.

no part number on the arm that I could find.

Thinking about just buying a good used one and replace it all.
