Default Door panel hardboard issue...

So i got my door panels off and it looks like the hardboard is rotting at the bottom due to water damage. is there a resin that can be used to soak in to the hardboard and shore it up so it does not crumble?

some have used fiberglass resin with a few layers of glass remove the carpet and do both sides of the panel install new vapor barriers go to dollar store buy a clear shower curtain and use this. make small drip panels that fill in the door cutouts then put one big sheet over the whole door.
The small drip panels should extend about 1 1/2 inches past the the bottom of each cutout you can use brush on contact adhesive to secure these as well as the big cover sheet
