dr bob - Doesn't porkens sell a nitrile mat for under the spare already? Not sure why I think this. Perhaps it is Rob Budd. Regardless, someone has a precut mat they sell.

I was thinking about replacement for the rear hatch area foam under the spare wheel cover, and for the rest of that area over the gas tank area too. The original is a 15mm medium-density open-cell poly in medium grey color, with a black vinyl face on one side only. The place you found yours in Michigan says they will cut to a template too. So if they have the right stuff, I can shoot them a BMT template and we can get the pieces already cut perfectly. Phone call tomorrow...
