Default TB job questions

As many other new owners I am doing my first timing belt.
I am using Dwaynes write-up as my guide. I am installing a Porken tensioner in place of the 928 tensioner.
First dumb question is after removing air pump can I get rid of this? (I used search and got alot of info on removing the A/P but unclear on this item.)

Yes, but you'll have to plug the vacuum line, the hose to the cats and the opening on the underside of the air filter box.

Just bend the cat tube over until you get a X pipe

Rotate the bracket CCW?

After removing the diverter valve, I plugged the hose below it with a cork. (Merlot, IIRC.)

The bracket has very little movement but I will try. Dumb question, will I need any of these parts when I replace with a porkentensioner?

Tap it with a wee hammer, laddy.

All your {parts} are belong to us. Plug the water pump hole with the included 10mm SS set screw. (Red Loctite if dry, otherwise lots of silicon, flush w/face.)

Always hard to tell from pics but inspect all gears prior to assembly.

The cam gears look somewhat worn and given Dwaynes recent failure its probably worth a 2nd look.

BTW........pads, paint and lock tool are ready for shipping
