Among the paperwork with the GTS was a 1995 Devek catalog. I also have Volumes 2 and 3, so I think (THINK!) this is volume 1. Anyone interested in my making it into a pdf and posting it? Or am I violating any copyrights (Don't wanna **** anyone off....)? It's a nice little piece of 928 history.
I've got one of those.
I've also got 20 1999 catalogs as well. I copied a bunch after I went to devek days that year for Marc and Susan.
They used to do a great catalog!!
So what ever happened to Devek? Seems there are lots of their products scattered about the 928 fleet. I often read cars described with Devek this or Devek that. Seems pre my Rennlist membership they were active providers of 928 performance products.
Wayne,
They only have part #s on Porsche Parts in their catalog. Their big brake kits, etc just have descriptions and what their pricing was back then.
Dan,
Devek disolved back in 2007 I beleive. Marc and Susan Thomas were the owners and they were part of the original "Big 3"- (Devek, 928 International, and 928 Specialists). Their big event of the Year was "Devek Days". I flew out to my first one in 1998 which was way before we had any kind of group here in DFW and I was amazed at seeing that many 928s in one place! I ended up attending about 4 of them and met a lot of folks that are here on Rennlist before Rennlist was even around.
I carried it with me on a business trip to San Jose one year and stopped by the shop on a Sat when they were not normally open. Susan and a few of the 'guys' were around and were kind enough to open the doors, gave me a tour of their place and sold me some parts................good times.
When I lived in norcal Devek did all the work on my car Mark and Susan were great. I owned a co about 5 min from the shop , I would see the almost weekly. Sorry when they closed.

I have Volume 3 in PDF as well. I'm new to the forum but what happened to Devek? I met Susan & Mark a few years ago while visiting my cousin in Castro Valley.
