Just relocated to Gainesville, FL.

Does anybody have a recommendation for a reputable shop to work on my 91' 928 S4 (from minor to major items that may arise)..............

John, I'm in Gainesville too. AFAIK there are two factory trained 928 techs in Gainesville. Carl Register who works at Continental on South Main Street and Redline Autowerks in Newberry.

Continental is a very nice shop, very professional, with a well trained staff.

Redline is a one man shop run by Larry Valerio. He is super nice and his rates are very reasonable, but he's a one man outfit and can get backed up. Both Carl and Larry were factory trained dealership mechanics back in the 80s and are very familiar with 928s.

Larry can be reached at 352-472-0157 but call him first to check on his schedule.

BTW let me know if you happen to be going to the 24 Hours of Daytona. I'll be caravanning over in my 84 928 with a friend in his 87 3.2 Carrera.

Many thanks for the shop info. I'm quite close to the Newberry shop so may give that a shot initially. I don't think I'll be making the caravan (although it sounds like a little more than fun and I certainly do appreciate the invite), still settling in to the new job and unpacking house!
