Default Are the relay fuse charts different from an American spec and an Euro?

I check out the fuse relay chart at 928 specialist and thanks to them my fuel pump works now. P0 put the wrong type of fuse in. My problem now is that when I try to start the car the starter doesn't work but I can start it from inside the engine. I assume it has to do with me changing my fuses. I have a 1979 Euro auto I don't know if the fuse relay chart for a Euro is any different from an American spec and what other differences may I encounter with a Euro?

the Fuse/Relay chart I believe are the same for US and ROW. if you will look ad the charts from 928 specialist you will notice that some of the fuses have (Euro) which means that fuse only pertains to the Euro version and all the other fuses apply to all models. Of course the fuse/relay charts are MY spacific.

The actual implementations are different between ROW (incl Euro) & USA cars. The wiring was more different on the pre-S4 models, and more similar for S4+ cars.

ROW cars also use some different relays - usually functionally similar (feasible to use but have different behaviour). There also are examples of USA relays that are not used on ROW (bridged instead). Many differences in the lighting circuits between USA/ROW, including relays and fuses (rear fogs, front fogs, parking lamps) across all model years.

However the starter circuits should be the same - you have some other issue - probably unrelated to fuse swapping (no fuse on starter circuit any year) and no relay on your '79. So it may be a coincidental ignition switch issue... or did you remove the starter blocking relay bridge perhaps (a brass thing that plugs into a relay socket...)

In general don't change anything on the electrical system unless you knew what you are doing - if you dissassemble - photograph it well beforehand... don't rely on other documents to get it back the way it was...

Were the '85 & '86 Euro's (& ROW) updated to the newer CE panel as the US models were w/the introduction of the 32 v engines here on those years?

Thanks in advance..!

I took a lot of pictures before doing anything. Now I am in the process of taking the car apart to fix up no reason to figure out this problem if I am taking everything apart anyway.
