Heavy Hitters magazine
Stopped by Walgreen to pick up a script for my wife and happened to pick up HH mag and flipped through it. Didn't really get a chance to read the article but there's an article on Maverick Marcellus (spelling?) which showed several pics of his garage. Several 944 and 928s. the 928s included 2 convertibles, what looked like a GTS pickup, and one that looked to be fully polished aluminum.
I know there have been numerous threads involving Maverick, with differing opinions about him but I thought I would mention the article in case anyone wanted to flip through it.

That's too funny, I posted on that a couple weeks ago as well. Was a Walgreens getting some things like you and picked up the same Magazine!
Thumbed through it and saw that he had 62 928s!!
Said to myself, how can someone have that many and I've NEVER heard of him here on Rennlist?? Strange to day the least!!
Then I started seeing the posts on him.
UH OH PANKY!! Looks like he didn't make too many friends here on Rennlist.

Yea, I brought that up originally (then it came up several more times) because I got a .pdf of that article from a guy and said the same thing you did Chuck! That truck 928 was Anderson's Maverick (his mother must not have liked him...LOL!) bought it from him...cash I think!

Well, there are quite a few nice 928's that he has pictures of... questionable as to WHO actually holds the title on ANY of them as I understand it. When you have a wrap sheet several pages long its hard to keep up with stuff like that I guess!
Everyone says he is a really nice guy, but isn't that the way con men work???? The guy STOLE a RL members car! OUT RIGHT STOLE IT! Told him he would pay him all kinds of money for it, but wanted to borrow it for a weekend...car came back over a YEAR later and it had its interior completely redone, paint completely redone too...he was trying to hide the car... that is STEALING MAN! When you don't pay for it but treat it like it is your own you STOLE IT! Crazy stuff!

RAP as in "record of arrest and prosecution"... and yes, pedantry IS (one of) the hobgoblin(s) of small minds...
