Question Twin Screw Intake Manifold Logo Opinions

Hi Everyone,

After countless hours, there is going to be a light at the end of the tunnel. I am getting closer and closer. Just a few more minor tweaks, and it should be ready to be machined.

Please comment, yea, nay, or otherwise on the lettering of the intake manifold cover......

The Porsche crest is going in the middle of the "H".... I wanted to keep it as factory "looking" as possible, but can make it any color I wish with hard anodize....

Thanks,

I like the idea but I think it looks best just have the PORSCHE 32V logo like the one on top of the later intake manifolds. The assymetry looks good when opposed to one another on each side. I'd also stretch the letters less and try to keep the original proportions. Attached a pic from "Pizza" and "Kaloudy" from the "what's under your hood" thread for example.

Thanks,

The font is the newer Porsche font, and I used the S3 type wording, as the piece will fill the engine bay similar to an S3 manifold. The crest is going in the middle like on the SC in pic 1 you posted, and I think I will make it all black..

+1 on the font. I'd adjust it a bit so the PORSCHE lettering is taller and not as squished.

If you're going with the S3 influence, I think it should be

PORSCHE
4C 32V

Or possibly something more, 'modern'?
PORSCHE 32V
DOHC - V8

If you downloaded the Porsche font, it is usually a stretched version. Search for "Porsha 911 font" and download that--it is more true to the original dimensions, although none are exact.

I'd go with a slight variation on the S4 one..

PORSCHE
DOHC 32V

I'd leave out the V8 bit.. its fun watching people trying to work out what it is, or assuming its a 6

I did download a Porsche font, I thought it was Super 911 font.. However, I will check again, thanks..!!!

Maybe I can have PORSCHE in Bigger fonts, and DOHC 32V in slightly smaller underneath... Hmmmmmm..........

Decisions, decisions.....
