Default 88 S4 parts for sale

Bought Carl Fausett's 88 blue 5 sp with holed piston and "one piece" front end last winter and just bought Kevin's 89 GT. Looks like the 88 is going to be sacrificed so the GT can survive. Looking to sell unneeded parts:
Pair of very nice H5 8 inch headlamps $250
Pair of very nice fog\driving lamps $300
Four 996 Turbo wheels, italian knockoffs, in 18 x 10 et65. Brand new in boxes four for $500 or $250 per pair if two are interested.
Beautiful S4 rear spoiler no sun damage. Still has a sheen finish $250.

How badly pitted are the fogs? Would you be interested in selling individually instead of as a pair?

Congrats on your purchase of that GT. I really wanted that one.

I'm assuming you are not restoring the 89 GT to orignal if you plan to use the '88 S4 for parts. Is this true?

I'm sorry this is a hijack.... feel free to PM me with detail. Just curious as to your build plan for the GT.

I'll check again but I was suprised that neither the headlamps or fogs were pitted.

Jim,

Depending on the parts probably a lot of the '88 parts would be IDENTICAL to the '89 parts... Even the manufacture date could be close or the same. If the '89 was an early car it could certainly have parts from a batch where many had been used on an '88 MY car I would think...

In general yes, but some of the parts he need specifically are different.
Not to take this much further but... the heads and tranny are different from MY88 (S4) to MY89 (GT).

I'm really happy that you're saving the GT! I just wish we could get you the right parts for a 89 GT.
Ultimately, your choice. My opinion is worth little as it was not warranted.

It was one piece in that everything was bondoed together. It took about an hour or two to crack the plastic between the hood and fenders to open the hood.

Let me check when I get home, but I'd like two of the wheels. Can you check shipping to Rod Underwood, 7300 Isanogel Road, Muncie, Indiana 47304.

Thanks
Rod

Thanks & let me know if you'll sell separately. I'm interested in the passenger side.
