Dumb question
Okay. I can't figure this one out.
I have looked at my 928 with the lights on, parking lights on, fog lights on and other various combinations.
Here's the thing:
What are the inner clear lights for, mine don't light up in any combination of lights. Fog lights light up (or are they driving lights. You know the ones that light up with the switch under the headlight switch).
ARe these even lights on US model or just clear things. Look like they have bulbs in them.
Didn't see them in the owners manual anywhere.
Thanks,
Jeff

They come on w/ the high beams...928 EVOLUTION won't answer that question, but I think the owners manual does... I have not looked at mine in a long time. Try the High beams w and w/o the fog light button pushed and let me know!

on the front of your car there are fog lights the inner ones then outer ones are the driving lamps it is quite possible that either the fuse is blown or both of the bulbs are blown. . The fogs come on when the parking lights or headlights are on and the switch is pushed, thew outer lights should come on when the Hi beams are actuated and the fog switch is pushed in.
The fogs should go off with the Hi beams on.
See my avatar , parking lights are on and the fog button pushed in.
You can remove the lenses then remove the bulbs and check them with an ohm meter, if the fuses check good.
If the bulbs also check good then you will have to look under the bumper for the wire harnesses , make sure that your getting power to the inner lamps.
The fail point for the wires are where they come out of the inner fenders and then go forward the metal clamps can cut these wires, of the wires may not be plugged in or the ground wires are broken
Check the fuses first, fuse chart here 928gt.com on page 2 under tips/links click on the fuse relay chart print one off and keep it in the car
