Scrubbing crud...

Are you using "regular" simple green or their automotive de-greaser?
What dilution ratio? I have both, just curious.
Miguiars All Purpose Cleaner and All Purpose Cleaner + are very popular for "safe" cleaners around the detailing forums. I have some on order.

Hacker,
I basically just sprayed Simple green on the area, (full strength out of the spray bottle) sprayed it with water from the sprayer off the hose to create suds, let it sit, scrubbed, rinsed, repeated, repeated, repeated......

I've been diluting the Simple Green 50/50 in watter in the spray bottle. I usually spray for coverage, not concentration, so it cut my SG bill in half.
Otherwise I do the spray/soak/scrub, folloerd by either the high-pressure hose spray or the pressure washer, depending on need and location of the crud.

Guy cleans 928 Engine with Brown Royal un under 3 minutes.... Looks good cept I'm sure that car didn't start after he used a high pressure water hose on it.

See that little red 928 next to that black Vette in my avatar? Thats the 928 that had its engine cleaned by Brown Royal cleaner. Yes, it did start right up after I cleaned the engine. The engine bay was a real mess when I first purchased it. Brown royal is safer than simple green and no comparison to p21s. Dont waste your money on buying expensive RTU (ready to use) cleaners. Its all hype and a waste of money.
