The V6 Camaro is 3.6 liters @ 304hp (versus the Ford 3.7 liter).
3.6 / 3.7 liters @ 300hp in a production car is impressive, especially at this price point regardless of cylinder numbers.
14 years ago Ferrari produced 380hp with 3.5 liters in a car that weighs about 500lbs less than the Ford or Chevy

The porsche 997 S has a 3.6 L Flat 6 which deliver 345 hp. I'm not surprised by a 300 HP V6 3.7 L
Year after year, the growth of the hp per liter is relatively constant. As it was only 65 HP per liter in our lovely 928, it as grown to the range of 80 HP per liter for normal use (not sport car or so) of NA engine.

Who would have thought that a flagship 928S4 would one day have the same hp as a base Mustang. Back in 87, the base Mustang had 88 hp!
So using that logic, the hp of a base Mustang has increased 340% since 87, so if Porsche re-releases the 928 it should have 1074 hp!

ouch, 38 hp per liter, I feel it should have been a sort of punischement to hold such car! As the hp per liter as double since then the 928 should have an up to date 120/130 hp per liter engine which is to say 650 hp!
