My '82 auto with the 4 speed rogerbox I took from an 84 the waynes parted out produces a rear wheel burn rubber strip on the "passenger" side. My '88 auto a rear wheel burn rubber strip on the "drivers" side ![Confused](https://rennlist.com/forums/images/smilies/confused.gif)

. I could probably combine the 2 toys for an LSD but the madness is not that great and I would lose the true manufacture date for the resulting car
. Seriously, can someone point out the facts on this issue please
. BTW, ahem....I love my girls

"live axle" cars tend to lift the right (pass) side of the axle as a reaction to the torque applied at the pinion. 928 with IRS and a relatively stable center section mount does not have a preference. So the side with the least friction will spin first. LSD no matter, by the way; the side with the least friction will still spin first.

Thank you both for your responses, I'm sure they are the logical answers; I however, never get any other burn no matter when and how deep I send my foot in......soo:- the '82 must be way out of balance and the '88 responds to me in the seat no matter what. I must check out the '82's weight distribution.
Thanks again,

Wayne--
Stooopid stuff like worn shocks and tire pressures will also play a part if they are unbalanced.

if you want to stop the tires from spinning get wider stickier tires

try initiating your wheel spin from a left hand corner in the 82 or a right in the 88. typically the inside will spinn first due to weight transfer to the out side. you can probably use this technique to help even the tire wear.
