Have you recieved the EZF'r v2.0 chip? Did you notice a difference? I have the update for your S2, now, too.

I want your cars to be in top shape, in case that I come to visit, va!

It's a race to see who gets their chip first. Darklands in Germany or me on the Jersey Shore.

I just looked and the damned thing has been in NJ since Saturday, but it's still 50 miles away in Trenton (by way of Bellmawr????). Maybe I'll get it by Christmas!

AH. I got mine yesterday too.

I probably won't get to put mine in until this weekend but I do have a long road trip planned so I'll have a great opportunity to try it out.

Thanks Ken!!

I did a little testdrive and I think the car goes better. We have here - 4 ° Celsius.Tomorrow I visit my son 250 km away.
That´s a trip with 120 km autobahn.The wintertyres will hold me back! :-( They´re labeled H = 210 km/h.

Ken just sent me the updated EZF chip, complete with a return envelope for the old one.! I notice a aliitle better throttle response hot, but it was so much better than stock before the update, its hard to tell. These chips really wake up the car, especially at part-throttle and normal driving- the increase in torque is noticed even from a stop- second gear starts are just let-out-the-clutch and you're rolling. No more flat spots, and instant hard accel whenever you move the pedal. It's really amazing! Plus, it gets about 40 MPG, keeps your coffee warm, attracts women, and removes grey from your hair. And the acceleration flattens out your wrinkles.

So THANKS KEN! Its made a fun car more funner!

I got my v 2.0 ezf chip last week and have been using it throughout the weekend and early this week. I put about 300 miles on it since last Wednesday in all driving conditions.

All I can say is:

and also

Plus

I have always used 3rd gear as my passing gear because of the gearing and it's just so fun to drop it down and let the car roar from 3k on up. Now I can use 4th also because the tuning kicks in so low. If I'm anywhere above 2200 rpms in any gear I can get on it and it pulls nice and steady right on up.

Stock chips:

Autothorities
nnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnbwwwwwwwAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH

Ken's new v2.0/1.4 with 55psi regulator
nnnnnNNNNNNNNNNBWWWWWWWAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!

I've noticed that my 5-speed feels more like my auto - in a good way. Because there is so much torque right off idle, I can run one or two gears lower, and still pull smoothly out of corners. Rev'ing out to max rpms is starting to sound strange - like with the auto - because I spend most of my time below 2500 rpm.

I've decided that the LH v1.1 is too conservative, too rich at WOT, so I'm running a slightly leaner version that makes noticeably more power. I am going to do a little coding to make the LH octane loop switch from the lean version to the v1.1 level if desired. That hopefully will be the last revision (v1.5) for a good while! (Or...maybe I'll keep it for myself. 'There can be only one!' )

Just got my chips and FPR yesterday. Can't wait to install them. One question, Is the FPR flow directional? I don't see any marks that would indicate a direction for install.

It can only go one way, the return hose (the one that slips on and is clamped) faces forward. Be carefull about kinking that hose if your also replacing the fuel lines, it might require some hose rerouting to not get it to kink.
