Default clock

Sorry, I'm leaning on you guys a lot now as I have some changes I want to make to my 88S4. My question is, will a clock from an '83 928 work in an '88 928? I had a '81 at one point and that was a totally different type of clock, but this one looks pretty similar. The Porsche part number on this one is 928 641 701 02. Picture of the clock follows below. If anyone knows and could tell me, that would be great.
thanks

Yes, fits no problem.

Cheers,

If you'd rather have a round clock, I have a conversion kit that I can offer you for $150 shipped. The clock has a black and red dial, and it comes with a black and a silver (aluminum) cover plate:
