Default Carpet Set *Price Check*

Where will I find the best quality carpet set for the best possible price?

I see them at Classic 9 for a reasonable enough price, but is there a better route, or should I stick with these guys?

Also, what is Silverknit, and the difference between it and Polyester?

Also, does anyone know the color number of the black used for the interior?

Not sure.

I have a Mercedes velour version of Rob Budd's black interior that I need to install in place of the stock sliverknit. Very nice.

Hi Jakkq: It is sLIverknit, not silver knit...

One of the questions you should ask yourself is, if the last dollar saved is more important than having somebody with extensive 928 experience, who you can call when you run into any difficulty.

I have done business with Rob Budd many times, and can tell you he is awesome to work with. He is knowledgeable, responsive, and prompt.

You don't get that at the "discount store".

I figured his site to be the best source to get my materials. I have ordered 924 items from there. Truly the only place I could find a single Heat Shield.

Also, all I could find was Color Code 349. Also Anthracite Grey, used on Mercedes.

I have used a spray, "ColorBond" on several other things. I have a can with the Color Code 349, that I picked up from performanceproducts.com to try out, and it did wonders. I used it over the UV damage on the rear cargo carpet on the 928 and it looks terrific now. I would do the same with the other carpet pieces, but I am getting a new set because most are shredded or moldy, or are just real beat up.

However I am looking for the Interior Color Code of black, because I am going to use some ColorBond to do a nice spray over.

Polyester material ($379) is a bit thinner than Sliverknit ($699) and is made in the US.
Sliverknit is a nylon velour made in Germany. It has a nice thick plush feel.

The polyester is available with crests embroidered in the front floor sections and back deck for $100 more. I can't embroider sliverknit.

I'll send samples if you send me your address.
