Here's what I think I know. Can someone confirm or correct me.
My '90 GT has what I believe to be 16" Design 90 cast alloy wheels, center painted body color (GP white). I need to replace a rear wheel. Before I do, I want to be sure my wheels are factory correct for the car.
My research led me to 16" Club Sport forged wheels listed as correct for a 928GT. However, one source says the forged wheels were '89 only.
Question: Are the Design 90's (7.5" and 9") correct for my car?
And, if D 90 is correct, where should I begin to look for a used rear wheel?

Club Sports in '89, 8" fronts and 9" rears
D90's in 90-91, 7.5" fronts and 9" rears
I'd check with 928 International.

ebay would be a good place to start and you might want to check the classifieds here and other forums?

Wheel Enhancement may also carry a new one if that is what you are looking for.
I have a very rare set of 7.5 front and 9.0 rear D90s, new with new tires on them I bought about a year ago for my 91 944S2. What makes these special is they are rare, made for the 928 D90's without the TPM. The 944 had 7.0 and 8.0 wheels. That is rare, trust me on that. I spent a long time looking for these and paid a small fortune for them (found in Germany at a Porsche dealer). They also have the metal painted center caps.....
