The changeover point assumes that poundage injector running at its rated fuel pressure. If you lower the fuel pressure the atomisation of fuel suffers, raising fuel pressure will force Tinj lower but in the "enhanced mode" the system will cope with that.

As there is no diadvantge of enhanced mode that we are aware of, what is the problem you wish to address ?
When you are running an S3 regulator in an S4/GT/GTS, you need to select a lower injector lb value than the actual size of your injectors (in order to compensate for the lower amount of fuel being injected due to lower fuel pressure). Since the enhanced mode activates at 32lb, if you for example have 36lb injectors, you may have to set the size lower than 32lb in the parameters menu. I don't know the lack of enhanced mode would cause problems with 36lb injectors at idle or not, but it is something that I have thought about. I was not thinking that someone would want to disable it, I was more thinking that someone would want to *enable* it at an injector setting lower than 32lb.

Hi Dan
I don't think there would be a problem with not having the LH switch to enhanced mode in that situation, other than poor injector atomisation due to less that rated fuel pressure for the injectors. (PorKen has found a 55psi FPR on an 85/86 car is a benefit)

It would be wise when running such a combination as you speculate to datalog Tinj at idle to confirm that Tinj is at least 0.5mS longer than the Topen setting.
