I'ld go with 944S yes you read right 9 4 4 S. Chances are that the speeding ticket will cite the car as a Porsche 944S - you don't have one of those - goodbye ticket.

How do I get custom license plates? Not the lettering, but the plates themselves? Do you just get them online and then send them in to be done or what?

In Virginia they have dozens of plates to choose from. Extra money from buying the personalized plate sometimes goes to a charity that backs a plate's design.

What does Nebraska's DMV offer? You might have to move.

edit: you have two choices. Amateur Radio (if you are a licensed operator). Husker Spirit.

I use a custom Euro plate (yea, I know it is NOT legal) on my '92 so it has the "D" for Germany then "TX" and a space with the Euro inspection/registration stickers and "92GTS"... VERY FREAKIN' COOL!
