I drive a Porsche every day.

I prefer the 944 for aggressive driving, and one of the 928s for longer runs, although on the hot days, I often think that I should get the A/C fixed.

Just drove the 928 to an out-of-city site (to do some IT work), and chose to go the long way. I'm looking forward to the drive back.

I drive a 928 daily

Steve, get the AC fixed, or fix it yourself!

I just got AC working in my 87 - cost me about $300 to go through the system; flushed the lines with mineral spirits and compressed air, replaced all o-rings, drier, r134a expansion valve, rebuild compressor and then got it filled to factory specs by a local auto electrician (I already had some rebuilt hoses that were fine, so I didn't get the ones off the car rebuilt).

I put more miles on rental cars than I do on my S4. When I am at home though, the 928 is my daily transportation. Good news for cars is that we live in a coastal desert where rain is a real rare commodity. I generally never really need to be anywhere on days when it rains, but the car has actually seen rain a few times in its life nonetheless. Not real rain though, just that little mist we have here. RH during thunderstorms here makes it to maybe 70%, so it really is a pretty dry rain.

I live in Fla so she is driven daily. I am from NE and if I lived there she would be put away for the winter as I don't think she would drive to well in the snow and ice.

Moving to Ga, atlanta area so she will stay a DD!

I am proud to say that as of lately I have been driving mine almost daily. At least 5 days out of the week. I have parked it the last couple of days while the hurricane IDA passed thru, but hope to get out and about again tomorrow.

Up here where it snows and we get Frost heaves...and to my southern bretheren I do not mean getting sick enough where we throw up Frost. My car is for the summer months...I'm sure with M&S it will go, but it is the salt that they lay down to gives us better traction up here I won't let it get to my 928......I thinks thats why god made AUDIS!!

Hey Hilton, that sounds like a plan - did you source the parts in Oz?

One is a daily driver. The others are toys. No snow or ice though. Wish I could find a good ladder rack for a 928.
