PSD, how to turn that MOTHER FU###NG S##T off

The PSD does an amazing job... Having driven a PSD car with a bolt and a working PSD car on the same track, the PSD is amazing at keeping the rear end planted.

On the auto trans cars the PSD ruins all the fun... stops all wheel spin by shifting Tq (that is the point after all) but if you want to play drift king an auto trans w/ PSD is NOT the way to go in a 928... Extra power via S/C or Turbo can probably help, but in stock form...not so easy to slide around with great precision...at least not w/ the car in "D". When you pick "2" and your speeds are a bit higher then you can still have some fun...

thank you for your replies. sorry bout the bad manner, just made me so angry
having a car with 330hp and not being able to drift without of fear of crash, sometimes it does the same thing that was mentioned, spining the inside wheel
this system is great for fast driving, but this is no daily driver, and I usually take it out to have some fun sliding
most of the time its being washed/waxed upgraded or standing in a garage
here are some pics of the bastard
can someone please share which is the bolt and where it should be screwed in?
I use to own a 944S2 with a simple LSD and that was such a pleasure of COMPLETELY controling the car

My 87 with LSD has very seldom broken the rear end loose ... and I've had 2 different transmissions in the car, with 2 very different ratios. LSD works very well to keep the rear planted under all circumstances. If you want to drift, you will need to tied down the Weissach axle. Otherwise unfortunately for you, the car will perform as designed, which means ... it will track through the corners until you push it past its limit, and you will face backwards in a hurry. 928's are not drift cars, but you can make them that. The PSD I have too little experience with ... and I don't push my GTS, so I can't say ...

Drifting
Porsche put tons of engineering into the car to prevent it from doing what you are trying to make it do. I mean WTF, srsly. The cars back wheels actually steer into the turns for crying out loud! and then PSD! no offense, you got too much money and not enough sense. Sorry to vent on you, but damn, you are bitchin about the car performing correctly...

I am already selling the car, and I think, I ll go back to the 944, or 968
the car is gorgeus, but that psd thing and perfect cornering is not for me, I am used to sliding the rear out, and hate al these modern systems interfering in driving, I am not the best driver in the world, but I have enough experience, to control the car myself
this is why I don't like cars 1995 and up, too much electronics, making the driver a vegetable

ha ha ha haaa. I saw were they had to do extensive front steering modifications to the GT3 to make it a good drift car. It was so the front tires would turn more.
If you want a 928 to drift, just tow the rear in a bit more than the stock setting and put some ott steroid drop links on the rear. It will be loose as a goose and spin the rears like crazy, PSD or not. Heck, if you are burning up the rears you don't care about a little tire wear from the poor alignment.
