We're working on a 79 US 928 at the shop right now that has a seized A/C compressor. After yanking it (along with that huge bracket) it seems to have different hose fittings than the donor 83 A/C compressor slated to replace it. Can one just swap in the 83 compressor and make the lines fit (as well as the bracket)..or is the 79 a one year only kinda deal were the whole system would need to redone, including lines, bracket, etc..
