Still looking for door speakers. What model are those? Are they currently available online?

Sorry for any disappointments, guys. It wasn't my aim to get in anyone's way. I just wanted those speakers bad...

 

Don, these are MB Quart Q-line speakers - top of the line (IIRC) a couple of years ago. In response to mans' inherent proclivity toward brand dilution, Quart reshuffled their product line and now the top end is called the "Premium Line" (clever, huh?)

The current Premium line 4" two-way speakers list for $500 a pair, although they can be found for substantially less online.

You won't be disappointed with these - but MB Quart speakers (well, the crossovers, anyway) need substantial power to really shine.

I've looked at the PVI-210's, even had a pair for a few days when my order got screwed up, but they are too deep for the 928. Maybe that's where the spacer rings come in? How thick are the spacer rings and where do you find them?
