Nope, not australia.

The only cat temp sensors I know of are Japanese cars - its a legal requirement there for all cars to be roadworthy (hence the retrofit), even though the ignition monitor relay makes them redundant on 90+ 928's.

Thanks folks. I'll just file this as the "I think I'm turning Japanese" S4. Maybe Rixter's digging will turn up something.

I know I was at SITM, I know you were at SITM, I know you owe me beer.

I just wanted to get that out in the open.

About the car, it sounds interesting to me.
How is it mechanically?
The normal things for a 928?

Forget about it being this or that.

The real questions are, can it be road legal in the US and is it a good car?

The rest is either a plus or a minus, depending on who wants it.

Overall it is no worse than your average 928 that has only been fixed when it broke over the last 20 years. Somethings are new, some old. Some messed up.

The real questions are, can it be road legal in the US and is it a good car?
It is current in Mass. Registered, inspected. So far there is nothing to suggest that it's quasi-Japanese jewelry would cause problems.

The rest is either a plus or a minus, depending on who wants it.
I will know more when I finish. Crank end-play is good. But, I'm going to double check when a new tool arrives.

It is far too good to part out. But, like any "only-fixed" 928 it probably isn't for someone that doesn't do their own labor unless they really like the color combo.
