Default ANOTHER OIL QUESTION

Has any members here used 5-40 weight AMSOIL EUROPEAN BLEND synthetics in the 928S4? I asked AMSOIL and they recommended instead of 20w50.

There isn't even a real winter here in SD, you need to get something 15 or higher

I've been using 10W40 Amsoil and its probably as low as I would go. Since temps in San Diego are typically higher (especially inland) I would consider a higher weight.

How about this one?

That 5W sure offers better protection at cold starts.

I run at 5w-40 in the colder temps here in Michigan for cold start protection and have had no problems with it.
