86.5
High idle 1,100 Rpm's with B & C on test port idle to 950 and idle adj screw all the way in.
We bypassed Iac and beside a interesting start on a cold engine I had to back out the idle screw but was able to adj idle to mid 700's but not super stable.
Is this a bad Iac or should we continue to look.

Check the connection to the tps(?) (i think) located just behine the large test port. On my 86.5 high idle searched forever and then found the connector here was broken. Glued together and helped until fell apart. Bought a new piece (kind of expensive $85 or so) and replaced. Solved my 1100-1200 idle. It is also difficult to replace if your hands are not small.
My brother went home 50 miles from me so next weekend I need to pick it up. I did not have time but I will check out the idle and Wot connections back at the Lh. Looks like the large hose from the Icv is collapsing and needs to be replaced, seems it would cause a stall and not high idle. Car idles ok now with it bypassed not to sure about tomorrow morning when it's cold out.

An old ISV/IAC/ICV can wear so that it has trouble closing, or opening, or both.
FYI: I tried disconnecting either the open or close wire to see what would happen. To my surprise, the ICV still worked, sort of. With either wire disconnected, it would still maintain the idle for small corrections, but had trouble opening or closing fully for large corrections.
