Nice looking car, price seems reasonable if the mileage and maintenance are as advertised.

Almost exactly like my '94 (save for colors, mine is Grand Prix White and classic gray) and I can tell you I would not sell MINE for that little! DAMN! You know the nice thing is you can buy this car and not feel bad about driving it on a fairly regular basis and save $70k over that '95 that is almost a perfect match save for miles and transmission!

true, and if you really wanted a 5-speed, I know a proper conversion isn't cheap or easy, but I am sure they can be done for less than $70k. Sterling's car started as an automatic... I wonder how close your incremental $70k would get this car to where his is today. Not all the way I imagine, but I bet you could do a stroker + 5M conversion, and still be ahead of the $105k car.

Well, you would not have the miles and the originality of a low mile car, but you could repaint everything and recover everything to better than new specs and put in a 5spd and at least a blower of some kind and still have money in your pocket!

Registry page, looks like its been "kind of" for sale since about the time it was at a Kia dealership in 2006, price slowly dropping from $41k.

They are going to get 2x more sales calls and text messages from guys selling ad space than anything resembling a buyer.

Registry listing for the CL SF 5 spd conversion
http://www.928registry.org/1994-928GTS-0199.htm

Thread from 9/10/09 when it was initially offered. Two issues were 5 spd conversion, but mostly missing passenger side airbag.

i like the 5 speed conversion car

Odd about that dash though, the car appears to be full leather, instrument cluster, dash, center console, that is about $4K worth of stuff i would have done to the car anyway, not keen on the seat inserts although ive seen much less appealing cloth patterns.

One thing about that non airbag dash though. Whenever ive seen Euro cars with drivers only airbag, they typically came with the older style (read 89 and earlier dash for US cars) dash with the larger glove box and shelves. Ive never seen an airbag style dash, minus the airbag. I wonder if under the leather cover is a 2 part dash as in there airbag cover is there, its just upholstered over in this example. Odd

There was a time when theft of airbags was pretty common, maybe that is what happened?
