Default Buffalo, NY

Living in Buffalo for the moment, though from Montreal and Carlsbad, CA. I would be very interested in meeting up with other 928 owner here in Bflo.

Default niagara run

I thought that I would send the information over to you, possibly you'll join us. I also thought you might pass it on. The drive is from stoney creek to Niagara falls.

Who is interested? Same run as last year, except the wine tasting will be at #99's winery. Thats across the road from Kacaba were we stopped last year. Wind through the countryside, through the tunnel, then along the Canal and though Niagara-on-the-lake and onto the Queenston Heights restaurant at Brocks monument for brunch.

page 4 - post #49

Start will be Stoney Creek at 10:30, finish will at Lewiston Bridge at 1:30.
Could you folks post if you will be solo or carrying a passenger and if you will partake in the Brunch at the Queenston Heights restaurant.

Carlsbad? How do you go from Carlsbad to Buffalo? Here is a test "Locals still call it Elm".

Did the OP guy ever find his missing watches? I don't recall if it was ever resolved.

I'm in Arizona!

Unbelievable Rob! In 1981 your Dad had a water cooled, front engined, hatch back with sunroof delete and aero mirrors and now so do you. You've come full circle - like father like son. Too bad your Dad didn't special order the rubstrip delete on his car.

My sister tore the right rear seatbelt off its mount with her bare hands when she was 4, then broke the (potmetal?) passenger side door handle. Good QC at the Ford factory in 1973. My favorite part of that car was the big rope Dad tied around the filler neck when it rusted all the way around and dissociated itself from the body. You can see it hanging down. He replaced this one with a 1980 Pontiac Phoenix, which was exciting 'cause it had a gauge package! Good times.....
