Anyone in the S. Shore / Boston area up for a drive tomorrow morning? Thinking of heading down towards Lakeville and a few nearby towns which have mostly open fields and farms. Great place to let the cars loose and enjoy the folliage. Start time around 8:30 AM to avoid rush hour for those that have to work.

You've got Columbus Day off? We don't have enough Italians out here to warrant that. And only the Irish get a day off at St. Patrick's day. They take a sick day the day afterwards.

We had a drive scheduled for Saturday in commemoration of Leif Erikson Day. He discovered America almost 500 years before Columbus, as everyone who's not Italian knows. The difference is that Vikings could keep a secret. The drive was canceled due to snow.

 

Tomorrow's supposed to be a Holiday?

 

I'm getting the feeling I'm the only one with the day off....
