Alan, I'm guessing you were looking at the second picture which shows the panel with the engine running already, because the lights you mentioned are all on in the top picture.

Bill, the CE light must have come later than 1989, as my manual does not show it.

So I'm fine then... PHEW! That's a load off my mind. Now I have to put the rest of it back together (did a little fishing in the center console while I was in there) and she's good to go.

Yes seems iike you are all OK... Bill didn't realize the earlier digi-dash cars didn't have the check engine light
