Thumbs up Killed lots of bugs this weekend!

I took off work on Friday to attend a race my daughter was running at Lehigh University in PA, then Saturday was another race for my other daughter in Holmdel, NJ and then out to my son's soccer game in Trenton.

Lots of quality highway time with the 928, probably over 400 miles between Friday and Sunday. The car is running great and the cool air had me and the car buzzing.

What a great car. At this point all of the mechanicals are finally dialed in and I can just get in it and go anywhere I want to go. I feel so connected when I'm driving it that I could make the car do anything I want to, just think it and it does it. What a great weekend.

I love road tripping in the fall!

Mike
Congrats. You have been putting in a lot of hard work ( and a lot of us have benefited from it) to get the car where you want it.
Enjoy before winter sets in........ I hate winter.

So I take it you killed them with the windshield and not blue smoke from the exhaust? (Been thinking about oiling recently...)

I remember those NY/NJ winters.
Now I get to eat my turkey (fried of course!) in a t shirt and shorts. Much better!

Yeah, the windshield and spoiler are a mess. Hope to get to them tonight before it gets dark. Sorry about the oil issues...

Ah, but down there you probably kill a lot more bugs than I do up here in the summer!

I actually drive my car year-round (have a backup for heavy snow/salt days), but there's nothing like a great fall day for driving with the windows open. The car loves all that O2!

I lived near where Mike is, and remember more than a few Thanksgivings with shorts on. At least there are some months in NJ when it isn't summer. More than in the south for sure. Did I ever tell you guys that I left NJ in 1969 to escape the summer heat and humidity? Took me 35 years to think of a reason ($$$) to go visit there again. It was OK, winter and spring so no weather worries.

OK, rant over. Drive your cars. It's what they are for.

Too bad you couldn't make it down to Frenzy, Mike.

A few of use were standing behind Andrew Olson's car as he fired it up.
He had professed to the car running a tad rich.
The few of us backed quit a bit away as the tears inducing exhaust nuked the whole area of mosquitos for about the next few months.

Hope the kids had good sports meets.
