Brake Wear Sensor bypass

'Mericans don't "look" at things very much...unlike a yearly MOT inspection, etc...or otherwise overseas.
So a brake pad dummy light..became a "feature"...and something else somewhat fragile to replace, and not in stock anywhere when it breaks.

When i work on my car (1980 4.5 5-speed), if i take something off, i will clean, check, lubricate, repaint etc. before i refit it.
I just put new rotors and pads on the front and have new wear sensors to fit because the old ones are cooked. The wires on the early cars are about 3 feet long with 2 molded in grommets. i guess that means they go through the skirt and then the firewall. Can anyone explain how they are routed before i spend a weekend under the car following them?
I know i COULD jumper the wires or pop out the warning globe, but I want them connected.

As someone who doesn't want a little light to tell me brake pads are worn out, I opted to disable my brake pad wear monitor rather than fidget with those dang sensors and connectors. Just jumper connections 19 and 20 (black side) at the CW brain/Central Informer (under the dead pedal). This is for a pre-84 brain - not sure if the 84+ uses the same numbering scheme.
