all you have to do is match the last 4 of the vin to the GTs I've listed on the 928Registry, pretty simple
there is only 1 S4 5spd over vin 1100, all vins prior to 1100 are S4s

I can confirm the more aggressive ride, handling, and power of the GT over the S4 of similar vintage.

The 775rpm idle speed is set by the LH software.

Of course it is. But when you have your throttle cable cranked to keep the engine from stalling because your ISV is no longer noticeably functional, your TPS is not showing the LH "idle" mode, and so the LH won't regulate it to 775 rpm, will it? Not sure? Ask someone who's been in that situation, if you can find them.

Design is one thing, actual circumstance is quite another.

Wow! The right price for an '89 GT, but I think $31,900 is still a bit high for a '90 or '91 GT... but I'm an '89 GT snob!!

"yeah, sure, hell - no prob just leave your $30,000 cash deposit with me, and let er rip".

Reminds me of a vintage car I bought way back. The owner let a couple of yahoos drive it around and he just held their license. They called a few blocks from the house that the car had blown a hose and there was coolant everywhere. He towed it back home, and I helped him get the big hose from the rear engine to the front rad installed. I bought the car after getting a real good look at everything underneath and in the engine area.

Not necessarily true. Fender lips factory rolled on my '90 GT.

I agree with Vilhuer. You just have to check this.

By the way, the first ROW I'm aware of is WP0ZZZ92ZKS841470.

All '90-95 S4, GT and GTS should have rolled fenders from factory.

To my knowledge, this is WP0ZZZ92ZKS840991.

This car was destroyed years ago.

I still miss 3 1989 CS VIN.

For the moment, I know:
WP0ZZZ92ZKS840087 (delivery in Germany, first 1989 CS, in France, track car)
WP0ZZZ92ZKS840188 (delivery in France and still is there, mine)
WP0ZZZ92ZKS840511 (delivery in Germany, and still is there, as far as I know)
WP0ZZZ92ZKS840991 (delivery in Germany, destroyed in the UK)

I know of a 1989 GT in Norway with the last 4 digits being 1784. That car was delivered from factory (Werksauslieferung) on April 25th 1989.

In Sweden there is a 1989 GT with the last 4 digits being 1722. That car was sold new i Sweden.

My car is 2157, and it was initially registered on June 13th 1989.
