Just goes to show ya.....all the goings on around here about the intake this and the intake that...and vacuum lines here and there.....

He made it back home without any of that crap.........Unnecessary visually appealing german proaganda I say!

Must have been a remote injection system or residual vapours in the cylinders....

(Yes I know I'm going to hell for this. Protective headgear being installed now).

Seriously though, everytime I hear the word dealership.....I'm thinking can't be a good thing.

Make sure your expectations are properly set. If the reason you want an attorney is to pursue a bad job by the mechanic, then your measure of damages will not likely be very high. You don't get emotional damages from a breach of contract. You get the value of fixing the job right. In a 928, that's not usually going to be alot of money, as these cars as whole unit do not have a particularly high value, and it's hard to imagine that a court would award you more than a car is worth. The hard part will be finding a lawyer who would take what may be a relatively small dollar case. You also need to think about how much you'd be willing to pay to recover what you think you are entitled to. This could be way upside down. If fraud was committed, the state unfair trade practices act may get you triple damages and attorney fees. Good luck.

I know in many states one can contact the States Commerce department/division if you think a business has breached laws concerning the consumer.

It works well, and it's an obviously good to help others out when they need it.

Dave it's amazing you can't help posting nothing to do with a thread but to hijack it because you have a hypothetical axe to grind.

I think you can also get triple damages for professional incompetence, ie doing something like using a micrometer calibrated to show brake rotors as below minimum even when almost new. You don't need to prove the intent to defraud, just unprofessional work.
