I want to completely replace my ageing speakers in my '91 GT. The problem is that I want to mantain the stock appearance of panels. Anyone did this ? Thx!

Kept the rear 6.5" with stock grills and installed MB Quarts (DSD216). You have to dremel off the original mounting rings and enlarge a couple of holes on new speakers to accept the screws.

Front door units replaced with MB Quarts too, but using MB grills which are very similar to stock.

Yes I have to agree that MB Quarts are the way to go, as long as you get the "real" ones and not the knock offs.
