I'd suggest Harbor Freight for an engine stand. $59 for the 1 ton. I imagine we can find a cherry picker amongst one of us..

I've got a stand you can use. I'm 15 miles SW of Ft Worth. I have the bolts for the 928 engine too.

No, not stroker, more like darton sleeved 3.1L monster! Should "hopefully" work out perfectly. And I may end up in SoCal so if I do, look out for me!

Doc, I may take you up on that, PM on your way. (I'll be working on a 951 tho, don't think I'll need the bolts)

jleidel, my main reason for asking to borrow is due to my ability to store anything I buy. My rented storage unit is now full and we will be moving at the beginning of next year so if I can avoid bringing on extra bulk, I'd like to.
