Default Tire Pressure Sensor

Hi All. I have purchased some very nice rims for my 1991 928 S4. These rims do not have the tire pressure sensor inside them. My question is this, is there a way to disable the tire pressure sensors or system? I only want to do this while I have these rims on. Perhaps there is another alternative?

Thanks in advance,
Alan

There's a well-tried procedure for disabling the tyre pressure warning, just involves unplugging the connector in footwell and bridging two of the contacts in the female plug with a suitable wire.

From memory it's contacts 2 and 13 which should be bridged but please check! You can find full details on the Nichols tips site, or just by searching for several threads here which cover it (search for stuff like RDK, "tire pressure warning" etc.
